Elegante India

Our shop, Elegante India, is located at 948, specifically Shop No. 5. We are tucked away in Gali Kuppey Wali, near the Punjabi Phatak area of Ballimaran. If you know Chandni Chowk, you know how crowded and busy it can get. It is a maze of small lanes and old buildings, and we are right in the heart of it. Our shop isn't very large, but we make the most of every inch of space we have. The walls are lined with our stock and we have a small counter where we talk to people. Being in Ballimaran means there is never a dull moment. You hear the sounds of rickshaws and people shouting all day long. It is a very traditional place to do business. We have been here at Shop No. 5 for quite some time. We don't have air conditioning or fancy lighting, just the basic stuff we need to run Elegante India. The history of Chandni Chowk is all around us, and you can feel it in the old brickwork of the Gali. We start our day when the market opens and we don't leave until the last customer is gone. It is a tiring life sometimes, but it is what we know. We are just local people running a shop in a very old part of Delhi. It might be loud and dusty, but it is our place. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
