Chhabra 484 Co.

We've been at 484 Katra Asharfi for a long time now. If you know Chandni Chowk, you know how busy it gets around here. Chhabra 484 Co. is just a small part of that madness. Most days start early, usually with us unlocking the shutters while the tea stall next door is just getting the stove going. People walk past all day, some looking for fabric and others just trying to get through the narrow lanes. It’s cramped and loud, but that’s just how the market works. We spend a lot of time sorting through stock and talking to people who come in. Sometimes the power goes out or a delivery gets stuck in traffic, but we just deal with it as it comes. It's not fancy here at all. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint and the shelves are always full to the brim. We just keep things moving and try to make sure everyone finds what they need without too much fuss. Being in Chandni Chowk means you see all sorts of people. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the orders and making sure everything is in its place. We don't really have a big office or anything like that. It's just us in the shop, doing what we do every day. Sometimes we sit on the stools outside when it's quiet just to get some air. It's been this way for years and we're used to the noise.
