Jogiwara in Chandni Chowk is a mess of wires and narrow paths, but it is where we work. We have been at No. 5813 for a while now. It is mostly just us and the rolls of lace. People come in looking for specific trims for their suits or sarees. It gets really loud outside with the rickshaws and people shouting. We do not have a fancy office or anything like that. It is just desks, some old metal shelves, and lots of thread everywhere. Sometimes the electricity goes out in Naisarak and we just sit there waiting for it to come back. It is just part of being in this part of the city. We handle the orders as they come in. There is always dust because of the construction that never seems to end nearby. Most days involve checking the stock and talking to the guys who deliver the materials from the mills. It is a small team here. We drink a lot of tea while we work to stay awake.
