It’s famous for the food, of course, but there are plenty of us doing other things here too. We’ve been in this spot for years, surrounded by the smell of fried paranthas and the constant noise of the market. Our shop is small and filled to the ceiling with rolls of lace. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know exactly where every pattern and color is tucked away. Chandni Chowk isn't a place for people who like peace and quiet. It's loud, it's dusty, and it's always moving. We fit right in. We don't use any big words or try to act like we're some huge firm. We’re just a lace business in an old part of Delhi. We spend our time measuring, cutting, and talking to the people who come in looking for something specific for a dress or a project. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and climbing ladders to reach the high shelves. We’re used to the chaos of the Gali. It’s just how life is here, and we wouldn’t really have it any other way. It’s a tight space but it’s home for us.
