Baba Uniforms

Our shop is right there in Chandni Chowk, just opposite the Town Hall if you're walking through Kucha Natwa. It’s a crowded spot, but that’s Delhi for you. We’ve been handling uniforms for quite some time now at Building N. 990/10. It’s not a huge place, but we fit everything we need inside. Mostly, we deal with schools and local workers who need something sturdy that won't fall apart after one wash. My family has been around this area for years, and we know most of the neighbors. People come in, they look at the fabric, and we talk about what they need. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and mirrors. It’s just shelves full of stock and a couple of tables for measuring stuff out. Sometimes the tea guy from around the corner stops by while we're working. It can get pretty loud outside with the rickshaws and everyone shouting, but we’re used to it. We try to keep things simple. If you need a shirt or a pair of trousers for a job or school, we just pull it out and see if it fits. There isn't any big secret to what we do. We just stay open, keep the stock ready, and help whoever walks through the door. It’s a honest way to spend the day. Building 990 is home to us, and we don't plan on going anywhere else soon. We've seen kids grow up from their first school ties to their final year blazers. That's just how the years go by in Chandni Chowk.
