Akriti Designer Suits & Sarees Chandni Chowk

If you’ve ever been to Chandni Chowk, you know how crowded and loud it is. That’s exactly where we are, at P-721 in Katra Hardyal. Akriti Designer Suits & Sarees has been part of this chaos for quite some time now. The streets are narrow, and you have to dodge rickshaws and people carrying big bundles of cloth just to get to our door. Our shop is filled with color from all the sarees and suits we keep in stock. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know where everything is. We don't have a modern store with glass walls. It’s more of an old-school place with wooden shelves and a floor where you can sit and look at the fabrics properly. We drink a lot of tea here because customers like to take their time choosing. We don't try to push people to buy things they don't need. We just show them what we have and let the fabric do the talking. Katra Hardyal is a historic spot, and it feels special to be working in a place with so much history behind it. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front entrance, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. It’s just part of the charm of being in this old part of Delhi. We stay open late most nights to help everyone.
