Our place is on the first floor over at T-502 on Chamelian Road. If you are looking for us, the best way is to find the Shidipura Fire Station first because we are right near there. Being that close to a fire station means we hear sirens pretty often, which just adds to the general noise of Delhi. Chamelian Road is always moving, and we have been operating out of this spot for a while now. Getting things up to the first floor can be a bit of a workout sometimes, but we are used to the stairs by now. The office is usually filled with papers and samples, and there is always someone on the phone or talking to a visitor. It’s not a very quiet space, but it’s where we get everything done. We handle all our business from this single location. Some days it feels like we are running out of room with all the stock coming in, but we manage to shift things around to make it work. The neighborhood is full of other small businesses too, so there is a lot of back and forth with the locals. We usually have tea brought in from the stall downstairs once or twice a day while we go over the books. It’s a plain, working environment where we focus on the tasks at hand without much fuss or decoration.
