Our place is out on G.T. Karnal Road, specifically at A-76/1. If you know the area, you know it’s a lot of warehouses and trucks constantly moving back and forth. Caretech Packaging is right in the thick of it. We spend our time making sure things are wrapped up and boxed up properly. Packaging might sound boring to some people, but when you see a shipment that didn't survive a bumpy truck ride, you realize why it matters. We have machines running most of the day, and it gets a bit loud, but you get used to it after a while. Our staff mostly lives nearby, so we’ve got a good group of people who have been with us through the ups and downs. We aren't some giant international firm, just a private company trying to do a solid job for the local manufacturers who need boxes or film. Sometimes we run out of a certain material and have to scramble to find a replacement so we don't hold up a customer’s order. It’s a lot of juggling schedules and making sure the machines are maintained so they don't break down at the worst possible time. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. The tea break is probably the most quiet part of our day before the afternoon rush starts again and the trucks start lining up at the gate. We also have a cat that hangs around the loading bay and everyone shares their lunch with him, which is nice.
