British Enterprises

Shastri Nagar is a bit more residential than most industrial areas, so being at F-38 is quite nice for us. It is a bit quieter on this street compared to the big zones. We call ourselves British Enterprises, though we are as local as it gets. It is just a name we have had for a long time now. Our setup is pretty basic. We have a couple of rooms where we manage the whole business. It is not a big factory with hundreds of people. We mostly deal with trading and some small-scale assembly of different bits and pieces. There is a park nearby where we sometimes go for a short walk during the lunch break. The office is a bit old-fashioned. We still have these heavy wooden desks and some old filing cabinets that squeak every time you open them. We do not use much fancy technology here. Just a basic computer for the bills and the occasional email. The neighborhood kids sometimes play cricket in the lane right outside our door. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We know the people living next door and they know us well. We do not try to look bigger or more important than we are. If you call us, you will probably talk to me or my nephew. We do not have a fancy switchboard. It is just a simple business in a busy part of town. We have been here for years.
