Rekha Fabricaters

We run Rekha Fabricaters out here in North East Delhi. It’s a busy part of the city, and there’s always noise from the traffic and other workshops nearby. We do a lot of metal work and cutting and joining pieces together for various projects. It’s loud work with all the machines running, but we’re used to it. Our shop isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we get the job done. We have piles of metal rods and sheets around the floor most of the time. We work with our hands and tools every day. Sometimes we get big orders that take up all our space, and other times it’s just small repairs for people in the neighborhood. We don’t have a fancy office or a secretary. Usually, one of us just wipes their hands on a rag and comes over to talk when someone walks in. The dust from the grinding can get everywhere, so we keep the doors open for air. We’ve been in this part of North East Delhi for a good while. We know the other shop owners on the street. It’s a hard-working area and we fit right in. We just focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the welds are solid before anything leaves the shop. That’s really all there is to it. We stay busy and the days go by fast with all the welding and cutting.
