Bosco Laser Lab

Bosco Laser Lab is situated on the first floor of building B-86 in Jhilmil, Shahdara. It’s a busy industrial area and our lab is right in the thick of it. We do a lot of laser cutting and engraving work here. The machines take up most of the space on the floor. There is usually a distinct smell in the air from whatever material we are working on at the moment. We have to wear eye protection and be careful while the lasers are running. The office part of the lab is just a corner with a couple of computers where we set up the designs. It’s not a very big space, so things can get a bit cluttered with scraps of wood or metal. We have customers who come in with all sorts of strange requests, and we try our best to figure out how to do them. Jhilmil is always noisy and there are always trucks being loaded downstairs. We have been in this building for a few years now. The light inside is mostly from the fluorescent tubes on the ceiling. It’s a practical workspace meant for getting things done. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People just bring us their ideas and we see what we can do with the machines. It is interesting work and no two days are ever exactly the same.
