Bombay Trading Company

Our place is called Bombay Trading Company and we’re tucked away at 6038 Gali Matke Wali in Sadar Bazar. If you’ve ever been to Gali Matke Wali, you know it’s a narrow lane and things can get pretty tight. We do a bit of everything when it comes to trading. We don’t stick to just one thing because in a place like Sadar Bazar, you have to be flexible. Most days are spent talking to suppliers, checking on deliveries, and dealing with the people who stop by the shop. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes around and keeping track of what’s coming in and what’s going out. The shop itself is pretty functional. We don't have any fancy displays or lounge areas for customers. It’s mostly just a workspace where we get things done. Being in Sadar Bazar means we’re right in the middle of all the wholesale action, so there’s never a dull moment. We’ve been at 6038 for a long time, and we know most of the other shopkeepers on the street. It’s a community of sorts. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest company around. We just want to do our trading, keep our customers happy enough to come back, and make sure we’re ready for whatever the next day brings in the market. It’s just plain, simple trading in the heart of the busy Delhi markets.
