Bk International

Our spot is over at Building No.J-66 A in Kartar Nagar. If you are coming from the main parts of Shahdara, you just head toward the Fourth Pusta and we are right around there. It is a busy part of town and there is always something going on outside our door. The building itself has been around for a bit and we have made ourselves at home on the ground floor mostly. We handle all the Bk International stuff from here, which mostly means a lot of phone calls and sorting through stacks of papers on the desks. It gets pretty loud with the motorcycles and the rickshaws passing by all day long, but you get used to the noise after a week or two. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle for making coffee when the afternoons get long and we need a bit of a wake-up. The walls are painted a plain white and we have some old calendars hanging up to keep track of the dates. It isn’t a place with big glass windows or a fancy lobby, just a solid door and some good people working inside. Most of our neighbors are also doing their own small businesses, so there is a nice feeling of everyone just trying to get their work done. We usually lock up around six and head home through the crowd. It’s just a normal workplace with a lot of daily tasks to handle.
