We are located over in Mandoli, specifically at JR Complex No. 4 on Sewadham Main Road. It’s a very busy spot with lots of industrial activity and noise. At Biocon Switchgear, we spend our time putting together electrical panels and heavy gear. It's a lot of heavy steel and copper bars. The workshop floor is always full of something, whether it's raw materials or finished products waiting for a truck. We started this place because we knew the trade well. It’s not about being the most famous company in India. We just want to make gear that doesn't fail when someone flips a switch. Our workers have been around the block a few times. They don't need much supervision. We have some basic office space upstairs, but most of us are usually down on the floor where the real work happens. It’s noisy because of the metalwork and the drilling. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the main road, and it’s a real headache for everyone. But that's just part of being in Mandoli. We keep a close eye on the assembly line. Every switch has to click just right before it leaves. We don't use fancy marketing jargon. We just tell you what the equipment is and what it does. If there’s ever a problem, we just fix it. It’s practical work for practical people. We stay focused on the tasks at hand and try to get home to our families at a decent hour every night.
