Raja Enterprises is based in Shahdara, specifically at 485/A in Bhola Nath Nagar. It’s a residential-cum-commercial area, so there’s always a lot of life around. Our place is quite modest, just a regular building where we’ve set up our operations. Shahdara has a very specific feel to it, very different from the rest of Delhi, and we’ve become a part of the local fabric over the years. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group of us making sure everything runs smoothly. The streets around Bhola Nath Nagar can be quite narrow, so getting deliveries in and out takes a bit of planning. We’ve had to learn the best times to move stuff so we don't get stuck in the local market crowds. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of things on paper mostly. We don’t have a big polished office with air conditioning in every room. It’s more of a functional space where we get the job done. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and wait or work by the light from the door. That’s just life here. We know our neighbors and they know us. Most of our work comes from people in the surrounding districts who have known us for years. It’s about being reliable and showing up every day to do what needs to be done. We keep things simple because that is what works for us.
