Bhatia Medicine Corner

Our little shop is Bhatia Medicine Corner and we are over at Shop No N - 44 on Khyala Road. It’s in the Shyam Nagar part of Vishnu Garden. If you're familiar with the area, you know it's a mix of residential houses and small businesses. We fit right in. The shop itself is quite modest. We have our shelves lined with all sorts of medicines and health stuff. It's not a big supermarket-style place. It's the kind of shop where you can actually talk to the person behind the counter. We’ve been here for a good while now. The morning shift is usually the quietest time, so that's when we do most of our cleaning and restocking. Once the afternoon hits, Khyala Road gets quite busy with people coming home or going to the markets. We try to keep everything in order, but sometimes it gets a bit messy when a big order comes in. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything, just the basics to keep track. It’s an honest living. We know many of our customers by their faces, even if we don't always remember their names right away. It's just a regular neighborhood medicine shop. No bells and whistles, just us being here every day from morning till evening, making sure we have what people are looking for. We just keep the lights on and help whoever walks through the door.
