A. T. Udyog has been running out of No. 56 Bharat Nagar for a good number of years now. The space isn't huge, but it gets the job done for us. It’s a busy spot, and if you come by in the morning, you’ll usually see the shutters going up right around the time the tea stall at the corner starts getting crowded. We do a lot of manufacturing work here, mostly focusing on the smaller parts that people often do not think about until they need them fixed. The workshop floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or dust, which is just how it goes when you’re actually making things every day. We do not have a fancy front office or anything like that. Instead, there’s just a desk near the entrance where we keep the ledgers and handle the phone calls that come in. Most of our neighbors in Bharat Nagar know us by now. Sometimes the noise from the machines gets a bit loud, but nobody seems to mind too much since everyone around here is doing their own sort of trade. It’s a practical setup. We spend most of our hours making sure the orders are packed and ready for the trucks that pull up in the afternoon. There isn't much to the place other than hard work and the occasional break for a quick lunch. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of tasks for the day, making sure things are done right before we close up for the night.
