This is Bhagwan Dass Miglani & Son. We are located at B 5 in Ganesh Nagar, which is part of the Tilak Nagar area. It is a family-run thing and has been for a long time. We have been in this exact spot for quite a many years now. The shop is full of all kinds of goods, mostly things that people need for their daily lives or for their small trades. It feels like a very traditional place because that is exactly what it is. We have stuff piled up on shelves and we generally know where everything is, even if it looks a bit disorganized to someone walking in for the first time. The street outside can get pretty noisy with the local market traffic and the sounds of the city. We open up the shutters every single morning and start our day. It is a lot of talking to people who have been coming to us for years and years. We don't use any fancy computer systems for the most part. We just write things down and handle the customers one by one as they come in. Our name has been around the neighborhood for a while, so we get a lot of repeat visitors. Sometimes the kids help out with the work, and sometimes it is just us. It is a simple life and we like it. We don't really try to be anything special. We just provide what is on the shelves.
