Working at Bhagwati Trading Co. means being right in the middle of the madness that is Chandani Chowk. Our place is in the Choudhary Building, specifically at number 2182 in the Chah Indara area near Bhagirath Palace. If you have ever been around here, you know how crowded it gets with people, carts, and rickshaws everywhere. We have been trading here for a long time, and the shop is usually stuffed to the ceiling with inventory. There is not much room to move around, but we know where everything is kept. The daily routine is mostly answering the phone, talking to customers who squeeze into the shop, and making sure the bills are paid. It is a loud environment with people always shouting outside, but you get used to it after a while. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or have a polished showroom. It’s just an old-fashioned trading business where we try to keep things honest and straightforward. The tea stall nearby is where we spend our short breaks, and that is usually the quietest part of the day. Dealing with the Delhi heat and the constant noise is just part of the job for us. We don’t have a big corporate mission; we just want to make sure the orders go out correctly and that we have what the customers are looking for when they walk in. It’s a tough but good way to work.
