Bengal Bitumen

You can find us over at Sarita Vihar 53. We deal with bitumen, which mostly means a lot of sticky barrels and heavy lifting. It's not the cleanest job, but somebody has to supply the materials for the roads and roofs around here. Our yard isn't much to look at, just a practical space where we store the stock and handle the loading. The sun gets pretty hot in this part of town, which makes the bitumen even smellier, but you get used to it after a week or two. We’ve been at this location for a while now. It’s mostly just us and the truck drivers coming in and out all day. We keep a small office in the front to handle the paperwork, though the desk is usually covered in dust from the road. Dealing with bitumen is straightforward work. There’s no point pretending it’s anything else. We make sure the orders are ready when people come to pick them up. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late, and we just sit around and wait. That's life. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the supply moving so construction projects can keep going. We don't have a big sign or anything, but the smell of tar usually lets you know you're in the right spot. The neighbors don't complain much, which is good.
