Bells The Diner

Bells The Diner is right across from Bharti Public School in Mayur Vihar 3. We’re at C3/77 in New Kondli. It’s a local spot where people come for a quick bite or to sit for a while after work. We have a few tables and chairs that don't all match perfectly, but they are comfortable enough. The kitchen is small but we keep it busy. You can usually smell the food from the street before you even walk in. We don’t have a massive menu with hundreds of items. We just stick to the things we know how to cook well. Sometimes we run out of a certain dish early if it’s a busy day. We get a lot of students from the school across the road during lunchtime. It gets pretty loud and lively then. The fans on the ceiling hum constantly to keep the air moving. We aren't a five-star place, just a simple diner where you can get a decent meal without spending too much. I’m usually behind the counter or helping out in the kitchen when things get crazy. We’ve had the same regulars for years who always sit in the same spots. The floor is tiled and we mop it every night once the last customer leaves. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we just try to keep everyone fed and happy. We’ve been here for a long time now and we like the neighborhood.
