Barber Syndicate

If you walk into the Mori Gate Main Market and look for number 3846, you’ll find us at Barber Syndicate. It’s a straightforward barbershop where we’ve been cutting hair for the local guys for quite some time. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a few good chairs, big mirrors, and the usual smell of talcum powder and aftershave. We keep the radio on most of the day, usually playing some old tunes or the news. It gets pretty loud on weekends when the market is full of people. We don't do those trendy appointments; you just show up, take a seat on the bench, and wait your turn. It’s a good place to hear the local gossip or just have a quiet smoke outside while you wait. I’ve seen kids grow up coming here, starting in the booster seat and eventually bringing their own sons in. My scissors have seen a lot of use over the years. We do simple cuts, shaves, and the occasional beard trim. Sometimes the floor is covered in hair during a rush, but we sweep up when we can. It’s an honest living in a busy part of the market. We know how people around here like their hair done, and we just stick to that. It’s a comfortable spot where you know what you’re getting every time you walk through the door.
