Bansal Bearing Co.

Our shop, Bansal Bearing Co., is located at Shop no 2463/11 in Building No-63 on Gb Road. We’re right by the New Chawri Bazar Metro Station, so the area is incredibly crowded almost every hour of the day. It’s a struggle just to get through the crowds sometimes, but that’s life in this part of town. We’ve been selling bearings here for years. The shop is small and narrow, filled with racks that reach up to the ceiling. You have to be careful where you step because there’s usually a box of stock sitting on the floor. We don't have a website or a social media manager. We just have a landline and a lot of patience. Most of our customers are mechanics or small shop owners from the nearby markets. We know a lot of them by name. It’s noisy and dusty, and the lights inside aren't the brightest, but we get the job done. We spend a lot of time searching through old catalogs to find part numbers for people. It’s a lot of manual work. We don't do any big promotions or fancy sales. People come to us because they know we’ve been here forever and we usually have what they’re looking for. It’s just a regular shop run by regular people who know their business inside out. We close up when the market shuts down and start again tomorrow.
