Banaras House Ltd.

We are located at 1/42 on Guru Ravi Dass Marg in the Kalkaji area. It is a busy street with plenty of cars and people moving about. Banaras House Ltd. is a place where we handle a lot of different textiles and clothing items. When you walk in, you’ll see racks of things waiting to be sorted or sent out to customers. The floors are made of plain stone and they stay cool even when it gets hot outside. We have a few fans going all day to keep the air moving. The walls have some old calendars on them and a few photos from years ago. It isn’t a corporate office with fancy furniture; we just use what we have. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how the daily routine goes without having to say much. We open the doors early and stay until the sun starts to go down. Sometimes the traffic on the Marg gets so loud we have to shout a little to be heard over the horns. We spend our time checking invoices and looking over the fabric to make sure things are right. There is a small back room where we keep the extra stock. It’s a bit dark back there, but we know where everything is. It’s just a normal workplace with a lot of history in the walls.
