Our place is right across from the Badarpur Metro station in the Mohan Co-Operative Industrial Estate. It’s a bit of a walk from the platform but not too bad. We spend most of our time dealing with wires and thick cables. It’s noisy in the estate, lots of trucks coming in and out. The office is in B II/412. We’ve been here in New Delhi for quite some time. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re more focused on what’s going out the door. We handle a lot of industrial stuff. It’s heavy work. Cables are everywhere, some on big wooden spools, some just coiled up. It’s not a glamorous job. We get dusty. The tea stall nearby is where we usually end up for breaks. Everyone knows everyone else around the community centre in East of Kailash. We just make sure the specs are right and the orders get loaded onto the trucks on time. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes deliveries a headache, but we manage. It’s a practical business. We don't have a big reception area or anything, just desks and a lot of metal and plastic. If you're looking for us, look for the big gate near the metro. We’re usually there from morning until late. The office can get a bit stuffy in the summer, so we keep the fans going at full speed. It's a real industrial vibe here.
