Down here in Badarpur, at 64 Street No. 2, is where you will find us. We are right by Main Tanky Road in the Meethapur Extension area. It is a bit of a tight squeeze in this part of town, but we make it work. Jai Shree Krishna Hand Embroidery is a place where we spend a lot of time looking at threads and fabrics. It is quiet work, mostly. You need steady hands and a lot of patience to do this kind of thing all day. We have got a few people who have been doing this for years, and they are really good at it, even if they do not say much while they work. The workshop isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, it is just tables and good light. We do not have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy things about us. It is just us and the needles. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, and we have to clean up a lot. Living and working in Meethapur means you get used to the noise of the neighborhood. We like being part of the local scene here. It feels like home. We just focus on the handwork and try to keep things moving. It is not glamorous, but it is honest work and it keeps us busy.
