J.K. Refrigeration

J.K. Refrigeration is based out of the Kusum Deep Building, right in the commercial complex near Akash Cinema. If you’re in Azadpur, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times. We’ve got unit B-21. It’s a loud, active area with a lot of people moving around, especially with the cinema so close. We mostly deal with cooling units, fridges, and all the mechanical bits that make them run. The shop is usually full of tools and spare parts. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but we get the job done. Sometimes a customer brings in a motor that’s seen better days, and we spend the afternoon seeing if it can be saved. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them we know how to fix a stubborn compressor. Azadpur is a great place to work because everything is right there. If we need a specific tool, there’s usually a shop nearby that has it. It’s a lot of hard work, and the summer months are always our busiest because that’s when everyone’s fridge decides to stop working at the same time. We try to keep up with the demand, though it gets a bit hectic. We just focus on the repairs and making sure people can keep their food cold. It’s just us here, working through the pile of machines every day.
