Our unit is at 132 in the Shahzada Bagh Industrial Area. It’s a place where the roads are a bit bumpy and there are always trucks parked along the sides. We’ve been in this building for many years now. The walls have seen a lot of work go through them. We mostly focus on basic industrial manufacturing, and our days are spent managing the production schedule and making sure the raw materials arrive on time. It’s a lot of manual work and we don’t have those fancy automated systems you see in the movies. We have a small office tucked away in the front where we keep the ledger and the old telephone. It’s usually a bit dusty because of all the activity in the area, but we try to keep our workspace as tidy as we can. The workers usually have their breaks out in the courtyard when the weather is nice. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to do our job well and keep the machines running smoothly. Most of our clients are people we’ve known for a decade or more. They know where to find us and they know we’ll give them a straight answer about when their order will be ready. It’s a lot of hard work and the days can be long, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing the finished products stacked up and ready to go. We lock up at seven and do it all over again the next day.
