Asha Granites

Out here on N.R.T. Road in Prakasam, things move at a certain pace. Asha Granites is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and dealing with stone, so it isn't exactly a quiet office job. We have different slabs of granite sitting around the yard, waiting to be sent out. The dust from the stone gets on everything, especially when the wind picks up along the road. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and most people around here know the spot. It’s not a shiny showroom like you might see in the big cities. It’s more of a practical workspace where we get the cutting and loading done. We talk to contractors and builders who need material for their projects. Sometimes the weather makes it tough to work outside, but we manage. You’ll usually find us near the back where the heavy machinery is kept. It’s a lot of manual work, checking the edges of the stones and making sure the pieces aren't cracked. We don't spend much time on fancy talk. We just show people what we have in stock and let the stone speak for itself. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We’re just local people working with what the ground gives us. The trucks come and go all day long, and we just keep the yard moving as best as we can.
