We are over at 4 Pandav Nagar, right across from the main gate of the Mother Dairy on Patparganj Road. It’s a very easy place to find because everyone knows the Mother Dairy landmark. Our shop is quite small but we pack a lot into the space. We’ve been here for a while and we know most of the people who live and work around this part of Pandav Nagar. We handle a variety of items, mostly general supplies and small goods. It’s a bit of a mix. The shelves are usually full, sometimes a bit disorganized if we’ve had a busy morning. We open up pretty early to catch the people heading out for the day. It’s a family-run kind of thing. You’ll usually see one of us sitting by the counter reading the paper when it’s quiet. We talk to the customers about the neighborhood news while we bag their items. The street outside is always full of rickshaws and people walking. It’s a lively spot. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything like that. We just try to have what people need when they stop in. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next delivery. That’s just how it goes. It’s a simple life running a shop on this road. We have a small fan that runs all day in the corner to keep the air moving. People sometimes stop just to chat for a minute before they move on. We like the personal connection we have with the regulars. It makes the day go by better and we appreciate the people around here.
