My place is at 33/1057 in the DDA Flats at Madangir. If you’ve ever lived in or visited a DDA colony, you know exactly what the layout is like. It’s a very residential area, very lived-in. I’ve set things up here so I can work without having to commute across the city. It’s a practical choice. The flat is filled with drawings and rolls of paper. It’s not a polished architectural firm with a fancy sign outside. It’s just me working out of 33/1057. The neighbors are mostly families who have been here for decades. You hear the sounds of everyday life through the walls—someone’s TV, the vegetable seller calling out in the street, the sound of scooters starting up. It keeps things grounded. I don't really have a big staff or a corporate structure. It’s more of a personal setup. Sometimes the power goes out and I have to take a break, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. The Madangir area is busy and can be a bit dusty, but it’s home. People usually find their way here by asking around for the block number. It’s a simple way to do things. I spend most of my time at the drafting table or out visiting sites. This flat is the home base where everything gets planned out and sorted before I head out again.
