Aman Electricals

Aman Electricals is right in the heart of Bhagirath Palace. Our shop is number 1801/27 in the Nav Durga Market. If you’ve ever been to this part of Chandni Chowk, you know it’s a massive hub for electrical items. The lanes are very narrow and always filled with people carrying boxes or pulling carts. Our shop is quite small, but we make use of every inch of space. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. Most of our day is spent talking to people who come in looking for specific parts or bulbs. It’s a loud place with a lot of energy. We don't have a fancy office or a place to sit down for long. Usually, we are standing behind the counter or climbing a ladder to reach something. We’ve been here for a long time and have seen many shops come and go. We don’t bother with marketing or trying to look bigger than we are. It’s a simple trading business. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the neighbors between customers. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use flashlights, but that’s just life in the old city. We keep things moving and try to stay organized in the middle of all the chaos. We just want to get through the day's work. We open the shutters early and stay until it is time to go home.
