Alliance Engraver'S

Seelampur is a place where something is always happening, and our shop at C 98/33 on the Main Road in Brahmpuri is right in the middle of it. If you stand by our door, you can hear the constant traffic and people shouting to be heard over the engines. We have been doing engraving work here for a while, and the shop is filled with bits of metal and various tools we’ve gathered over the years. It is a small space, crowded with machines and stacks of finished work waiting for pickup. We don't have a big office or a reception area; you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't busy at the moment. The light inside isn't the best, so we use some old desk lamps to see the fine lines we are cutting. Sometimes the dust from the engraving gets everywhere, and we spend a good chunk of the evening just sweeping up. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Delhi; we just want to get through the day's orders without any of the machines breaking down. Most of our neighbors are also working hard in their own small businesses, so there is a nice sense of community on this stretch of the road. We drink a lot of tea while we work, mostly to keep our focus during the long afternoons. It's just a regular shop where we do our best with what we have and keep things moving.
