Kaydee Fashion

We are based in Nilgiri Appartments in Alaknanda. Our unit is No. 305. It’s a bit different because it’s a residential complex. It is much quieter than being out on a main road. You have to go through the main gate and past the small park to get to our block. Kaydee Fashion is tucked away on the third floor. We have turned the rooms into work areas. There are clothes and fabric swatches everywhere. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we have a lot of stock. The balcony has a view of the trees outside. It’s a nice place to take a quick break. We don't have many walk-in customers since we are in an apartment. Most of our work is done through calls and deliveries. The neighbors are used to seeing delivery guys coming to our door. We try to keep the noise down so we don't bother anyone living nearby. It feels more like a home than a business sometimes. We have a small kitchen where we make tea. Everything is a bit informal. We don't wear uniforms or anything like that. It’s just a small group of us working together. The rooms are bright during the day. We stay until the sun goes down and then lock up for the night. It's a nice change from the loud industrial parks.
