Our office is up on the 7th floor of Vishwasadan, which is right in the Janakpuri District Centre. It’s a busy building at 716, and being that high up gives us a bit of a view, though we’re usually too busy to look out the windows. At Akshaypatra Equipments Pvt. Ltd., we deal with a lot of different machinery and tools. The office is often full of catalogs and spec sheets for the equipment we handle. Janakpuri is a crowded place, so getting into the building in the morning can be a bit of a shuffle with everyone using the elevators. We have a small staff and we’ve been working out of this spot for a good while now. There’s always a kettle going for coffee or tea because we spend long hours going over orders and talking to manufacturers. It’s not a very big office, so we have to be careful about where we stack the files and samples. We don't have any big slogans or fancy mission statements on the walls. We just come in, handle the paperwork, and make sure the equipment gets to where it needs to go. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy when we’re in the middle of a big project, but we manage to find what we need. It’s a straightforward operation here in Delhi that keeps us very busy.
