Ajanta Packagings (Lighting Division)

Out here in Dilshad Garden, we operate from Plot No. 15 in the Oberoi Compound. It’s an industrial area, so it’s always got trucks moving around and people loading things. Our part of the business handles the lighting side of things. It's separate from the main packaging work, but we all share the same space. The GT Road is right there, which is helpful for getting things shipped out quickly. The compound can be a bit dusty, and it’s definitely not a place for fancy shoes. We’re mostly in our work clothes, dealing with boxes and wires all day long. We have a small desk near the back where we handle the orders. It gets loud sometimes when the neighbors are running their machinery. We’ve been here long enough that the noise doesn't bother us anymore. We just keep our heads down and do the work. We aren't trying to be the biggest name in the industry. We just want to make sure the products we send out are decent and that the customers aren't left waiting. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and we have to wait around, but we usually find something to do, like checking the inventory by hand. It’s a simple life. We know the guards at the gate and the tea stall guy nearby. It feels like home after all these years of working.
