Hindustan Bag Industries

If you walk down Idgah Road, you will find us at T-309 Ahapa-Kidhara. Hindustan Bag Industries has been sitting in this same spot for a good bit of time. We make bags of all sorts here. The area around us is usually pretty crowded, especially during the market hours when everyone is out and about. Our workshop is not a huge place, but it is packed full of sewing machines and rolls of different fabrics. There is always the sound of stitching happening in the background while we work. It gets quite loud sometimes. We mostly focus on getting our orders finished on time so people are not waiting on us. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for a while and we have to sit and wait in the dark, but that is just how things go in this part of town. We have a small team here and most of the guys have worked with us for many years now. We are not trying to be some massive factory or a big brand. We just want to make sure the bags we produce are strong enough to hold whatever people need to carry in them. The floor is usually covered in small scraps of cloth and loose threads by the afternoon. We sweep it all up before heading home for the day and then start it all over again the next morning. It is honest work and it keeps us busy enough to keep the doors open.
