Afflatus Design Studio

Our studio is out in Aya Nagar Village, at a place called 4 Windmill Place. It’s a bit of an interesting spot because it’s not your typical commercial district. Aya Nagar has a very local, village-like feel even though it’s part of the city. Afflatus Design Studio is tucked away here, and it gives us a bit of a different perspective on things. The streets are narrow and you have to be careful when driving in. It's a bit quieter than being in the middle of a market, which we like. We have our desks set up and there is always some project we are scratching our heads over. The space at Windmill Place is where we spend most of our waking hours. We don't go for anything too flashy in terms of decor. It’s just a place to work. Sometimes the local kids are playing outside and it gets a bit loud, but that’s just how it is here. We like the fact that it feels like a real neighborhood. There’s a tea shop just down the lane that we visit way too often. Our setup is pretty simple and we don't try to make it sound more important than it is. We just focus on the design work we have and try to keep things moving along. It’s a grounded way to work and it suits us fine. We don't need much else besides our tools and some quiet.
