Aditya Birla Retail Limited

We've been at D-6 in the Gupta Apartments building for quite a while now. If you know Ignou Road over in Saidullajab, you probably know where we are. It’s a busy spot in New Delhi-68 and there is always something going on outside our doors. Aditya Birla Retail Limited is the name on the paperwork, but to the folks around here, we are just part of the neighborhood landscape. Most days we are just busy keeping the shelves sorted and making sure things are where they need to be when people walk in. The traffic on Ignou Road can get pretty bad in the afternoons, especially when the sun is really hitting the pavement. We see the same faces coming through, people living nearby in the apartments or folks just passing through on their way somewhere else. It is not a fancy setup, just a practical space where we get the work done. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding the exact spot because of how the road is laid out, but we manage. We aren’t trying to do anything revolutionary. We just open up, handle the daily tasks, and lock up when the day is over. It gets dusty like anywhere else in Delhi, so there is always cleaning to do. We don’t spend much time worrying about big speeches or grand plans. We just focus on the stuff right in front of us at this specific address. It’s a job and we do it every day.
