Abhisek Aggarwal

My name is Abhisek and I run things from here at 4905 Hauz Qazi. This part of the city is always crowded and noisy, but it’s where all the trade happens. I’ve been in this spot for quite some time now. People know me around the market. Usually, you can find me sitting near the front of the shop dealing with whatever orders came in that morning. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking on things, but I’ve gotten used to the pace. The building itself is old, like most things around here, and the stairs are a bit narrow. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us making sure everything stays on track. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, or the delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow lanes, but we manage. My family has been around these markets for years. I try to stay organized, but sometimes the desk gets buried under receipts. It’s a busy life. I don't spend much time worrying about how things look as long as the work gets done correctly. Most of my day is spent on the phone or talking to people who walk in. Hauz Qazi has a specific feel to it, very fast and loud, and we are right in the middle of that. It’s just how we do things every day without much fuss.
