Aaliya Garments

Our shop, Aaliya Garments, is located at No. 2509 on Hudoan Lane in the Kingway Camp area. It’s a bit of an older part of the neighborhood, and it has a lot of character. The lane is usually pretty active with students from the nearby colleges and families walking by. We opened up here because it felt like a good spot to just do our own thing without too much fuss. The building is simple, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside, but it suits us just fine. Inside, we have rows of clothes that we spend a lot of time sorting through and organizing. It’s mostly just us working here, making sure the shelves don’t stay empty for too long. We get a lot of regulars who live nearby and stop in just to say hello or see if anything new has arrived. The weather affects the mood of the shop quite a bit; when it rains, the lane gets a bit muddy and things slow down for everyone. We use that quiet time to do the inventory or clean up the back room where we store the extra boxes. It’s a lot of routine, day in and day out. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and close them up at night when the sun goes down. It’s a quiet way to run a business. We like the pace of Hudoan Lane.
