A D Print

Bhagat Singh Market is always a hive of activity, and we are right there at shop number 99. A D Print has been a part of this market community for a good many years now. You can usually hear our printers humming away from the sidewalk outside. It is a very small shop, so we have to stack our paper and boxes vertically just to make everything fit in the space. It gets a bit cramped when we have a big order of wedding cards or heavy brochures to fold and pack. We do all the manual work ourselves, from the initial digital setup to the final paper trim. There is no middleman or outside help involved. Often, the floor is covered in a fine layer of paper dust, and we are constantly wiping down the glass counters. It is just the nature of this kind of business. People stop by while they are doing their other daily shopping in the market. We don't have a big fancy neon sign, just a simple painted one that has been there since the day we opened. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles to keep up with the heat coming off the machines, so we just keep the front door propped open with a brick. We aren't trying to be the biggest print shop in the whole city. We just want to get the work out on time so people can get on with their day. It is a straightforward way to earn a living.
