A B C Enterprises

A B C Enterprises is located right on Main Sadar Thana Road, basically right across from the ICICI Bank. If you know Sadar Bazar, you know how crowded it gets. Our building at number 2690 is always surrounded by people and carts moving back and forth. The shop is small and packed with all sorts of items we trade in. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, and sometimes we have to use a ladder just to find what we need. It’s loud out on the street with all the shouting and horns, but inside we just focus on the orders. We’ve been here for many years, so the floor is a bit worn down and the walls have some scuffs. My brother and I usually manage things, and we have a helper who knows where every single box is kept. In the mornings, we spend a lot of time unloading stock that comes in from the trucks. The afternoons are mostly spent dealing with customers who come by the market. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, no fancy computers everywhere, just ledgers and a lot of talking. We know most of the other shopkeepers on the block, and we often share tea during the slow hours. It’s a gritty, busy place but it’s where we’ve always been and it suits the way we work.
