Vridhii Welfare Association

Our association is based out of Shakti Vihar, right behind the railway station in Roorkee. You can find us care of Mohd Irshad, the son of Abdul Hamid. Being so close to the station means there is always the sound of trains and the general buzz of the urban part of Haridwar. It is a lively area, and we are right in the thick of it. Vridhii Welfare Association isn't some distant group. We are locals who live and work in this neighborhood. The office is a simple room where we gather to talk and handle our paperwork. It can get a bit noisy with the station nearby, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don’t have a big budget for marketing or anything like that. We just do our work and talk to the people who live on our street. Most of our neighbors know Mohd Irshad, so they know where to find us if they need anything. The Shakti Vihar area is a mix of homes and small shops, and we fit right in. It’s a practical place to be because everything is within walking distance. We don’t have fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of commitment to what we are doing. We like the honesty of this neighborhood. It’s real and it’s where the work happens every single day without any fuss.
