Our place is over at the Parswnath Eliganza Mall on Rajpur Road in Dehradun. Being in a mall sounds fancy, but our unit is mostly about the work. Rajpur Road is always moving, lots of traffic and people, which is good for being seen but can be a headache for parking. We deal with all sorts of fabrics here. Inside the mall, it stays a bit cooler which is lucky during the summer months when Dehradun gets hot. We have shelves full of different materials and rolls stacked up against the walls. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when a new shipment comes in. We spend our days cutting, measuring, and sorting out what the customers need. It’s a small group of us running the shop. We don’t really do big ads or anything; people usually find us because they’re already in the area or they heard about us from someone else in the city. The mall has its own rhythm, and we’ve become part of that over time. Sometimes we stay late to finish up a batch of orders. It’s not a glamorous job, just handling cloth and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the day. We like the location because it’s central, even if it gets a bit loud on the weekends when everyone is out shopping. We just keep our heads down and focus on the fabrics we have in stock today.
