Tutor Classes

Tutor Classes is based at No-28 in Karanpur, Dehradun City. We are right near the Laxmi Narayan Mandir. That’s a good way to find us if you’re coming from a different part of the 248001 zip code. We kept the name simple because that’s what we are. We provide tuition for local students who need a place to study after their regular school is over. The room we use is at No-28 and it’s a decent size for a small group. We have some benches and a wooden table that we’ve used for years. It’s not a corporate office with a receptionist. It feels more like a home. The bells from the Laxmi Narayan Mandir often mark the start and end of our sessions. It’s a nice sound to have in the background while we're working. Dehradun is full of places like this, but we try to just focus on our own corner of Karanpur. We don’t use any marketing tricks or big slogans to get people in. We just show up, open the door, and wait for the students to arrive. Sometimes we have tea together while we figure out a difficult problem. It’s a very human way of doing things. We know the parents and we know the kids well. It’s a small, honest business and we’re happy with that. We just do the work day in and day out without making it complicated.
