The Oculus Architect

You can find us over at I-102 in Nehru Colony. We are quite close to the MBDA Fountain, which is a good spot to tell people when they get lost. Working as The Oculus Architect means we spend a lot of time looking at drawings and sketches. Our office is tucked away in the colony, so it’s a bit quieter than being on the main road. We’ve got a couple of big tables for laying out plans and enough chairs for whoever stops by. It isn't a showy place. There are pens and rulers scattered around most of the time. The light is okay, though we added some extra lamps for the evenings. Dehradun is growing fast, and we see that from our windows every day. We don't really go for that polished, high-end look in the office. It’s more about having a space that works for us. Sometimes we’re out on sites, and other times we’re just sitting here drinking tea and trying to figure out a design. We don’t have a big team, just enough people to handle the projects we take on. If the fountain is running, the walk from the main gate is quite pleasant. It’s a decent place to spend the workday, and we’ve made ourselves at home here over the years.
