Swastik Eye Hospital

Swastik Eye Hospital is situated on Ddn Road in Rishikesh. Being in Rishikesh, we get a lot of local residents and even some travelers coming in to get their eyes looked at. The hospital isn't as huge as the name might make it sound; it's more of a focused place for people having trouble with their vision or needing new glasses. We have some charts on the wall for testing eyes and a few machines for checking things more closely. Ddn Road is always busy, so there is a constant hum of traffic outside our doors throughout the day. We spend a lot of time helping people pick out frames or explaining how to use their new eye drops. The 249201 area is where we spend all our waking hours. Usually, the waiting room has a few people sitting quietly, waiting for their turn to see the doctor. We don't have a lot of extra staff, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the door to cleaning the glass cases. It’s a practical environment for us. We don't go in for fancy decorations or anything that isn't necessary for the work. The sun shines quite brightly through the front windows in the afternoon, which is nice but makes it a bit warm inside. We just try to get through the daily list of patients and make sure everyone gets the attention they need before we close up the shutters for the night.
