Sunrek

Our place, Sunrek, is located in Vaishnav Vihar. We are right near the Tagore Niketan School, so we hear the kids playing during recess every day. It’s a nice reminder of the neighborhood we’re in. We aren't some big anonymous corporation. We are just a few people working out of a small office space that we’ve made our own. The desks are a bit mismatched and we have a coffee machine that only works half the time, but it’s home to us. We started Sunrek because we wanted to do things our own way without all the rules you find in big companies. There’s no dress code here; we just wear what’s comfortable and get to work. Most of our time is spent on the computer or talking on the phone with suppliers. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we don't have any glossy brochures. We just tell people what we can do and then we do it. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to catch up on, but usually, we try to head home at a decent hour. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We like the quiet of Vaishnav Vihar and the fact that we can just walk down the street to get a snack. We’re just regular people trying to provide a service that we’re proud of without any of the extra fluff.
