We’ve been running Sumit Sabharwal And Associates for a good while now from our spot in the Windlass Shopping Complex. It’s right there on 11-A Rajpur Road in Dehradun. The office isn’t much to look at, just a place where we get the work done. Mornings usually start with a lot of tea and checking through piles of files that seem to never end. Being in this part of town means it gets pretty busy outside, especially during the afternoon rush. We usually have people coming in with their tax papers or just asking questions about some government notice they got in the mail. We don't really do the whole corporate talk thing here. It’s more about sitting down and looking at the numbers until they make sense. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out, but that’s just how things go in Dehradun. We know the neighbors around the complex well, and it’s a nice enough place to spend the day. Usually, we're here until late evening trying to finish up the balance sheets before the deadlines hit. It’s a lot of manual checking and double-checking everything. Our desks are usually covered in notebooks and pens. We just try to keep things moving along and make sure our clients aren't worrying too much about their accounting stuff. It’s just us doing our jobs at 35, Windlass Shopping Complex, day in and day out.
